'Loving You Is Easy', new EP by The Carter Bros including a remix from Tom Trago
Following their 'Metropolitan' album last year The Carter Bros return to Tsuba with a brand new 4 track EP including a remix from Tom Trago. The EP is sample heavy and once again demonstrates their gift for unearthing obscure hooks & memorable vocals. Lead track 'Loving You Is Easy' is pure disco with a soaring string & horn sample underpinned by the Carters deft production style that skillfully balances the old & the new. On his outstanding remix Tom Trago places emphasis on the vocal creating extra tension throughout the arrangement. 'Wake Up & Cry' and 'Come Back Underground' work intricate percussive loops around two beautifully soulful vocal samples. Another stunning release from our favorite Antipodeans.
