We've been a fan of Norm Talley for some time at Tsuba HQ so are extremely chuffed to announce the 'Palmer Park Project' EP from one of Detroit's more unsung heroes. Lead track 'Mid-Nite Madd-Ness' is an excursion into deep techno with shades of his classic 'Cosmic Waves', centering around a pulsating hypnotic synth paired with crisp bass heavy production. 'Holiday' sees Norm flex his deep house muscles with some beautiful chords & trademark skippy Hi Hats. The vibe of EP closer 'One Track Mind' sits between these two camps & features haunting house keys, a tension giving string, heavy hats and a nagging clave. Full of warmth and personality this EP shows with ease how Detroit house & techno should be done.
