The rejuvenated Tsuba imprint goes from strength to strength with a 4 track EP from UK producer Steve Cook. The Roland 303 is very much the centre point for the EP & shows various sides to the revered hardware. If you want a track to dictate the tone of your DJ set then look no further than EP opener 'Haze', sexy low slung acid house with a bassline straight out of Chicago topped off with an insanely hooky acid line. 'Warehouse In Your Mind' walks a deeper path with flecks of warm acid pushing along a stuttering groove and 'Hypnotronic' introduces some conga percussion to the mix. EP closer 'Flashback' does exactly what it says on the tin & is pure retro acid house with a jacking bassline, topline piano and flute sample.
